The most important thing that I can say to all of you is…” you are not alone.”
You are not alone in the worry,
You are not alone in the doubt.
You are not alone in the work,
You are not alone in the searching.
And
You are not alone in the imagining,
You are not alone in the “what ifs?”
You are not alone in the JOY,
You are not alone in the discovering.
These days will help us all grow closer to God and each other if we lean into our connection. If we allow ourselves to lean on others in times when we can’t do it alone, we all become stronger.
If we seek opportunities for growth outside the traditional classrooms many of us have been accustomed to over the years, we discover a whole new world! Most importantly, when we spend time with each other, the love of God is shared more broadly.
This spring, explore what the conference NCCUMC.org offers, covering everything from Creation Care to Disaster Response. Visit UWFaith.org and discover the many ways to connect and grow, from book clubs to learning how to advocate effectively.
The same goes for United Methodist Men and Youth. Find ways to connect and spread the love of Christ in new ways. So many people in this world are seeking meaningful connections, and the United Methodist Church offers so many opportunities for faith-filled growth and relationships.
We are not alone and when others see Christ alive in us, they discover they aren’t either.
