The generosity of Centenary UMC and local New Bern businesses made it possible.
Twelve local restaurants donated free meals, ten fast food businesses donated dozens of free coupons and three other businesses gave free gift cards. This generosity meant that every faculty and staff member received a free dinner and bunches of free coupons. There are 51 members of the the faculty and staff. To add to our celebration, we provided a pizza lunch on Wednesday. That evening, Centenary hosted a drive-thru supper for our community that included our Oaks Road Academy (ORA) friends.
