Lay Servant Ministries Basic Course
(*required for certified Lay Servant/Speaker)
will be offered 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Saturday, February 20, 2021 by Zoom session. The class will be taught by Jackie Attaway, Bobby Meadows and Roxie Cauley.
This course is foundational for all courses in Lay Servant Ministries. Participants are encouraged to discover and employ personal spiritual gifts as God intended and to consider the importance of exercising servant leadership, developing future leaders, remaining rooted in consistent spiritual practices, and being part of a group that holds members accountable in their discipleship.
This class is open to anyone who would like to learn the most essential and fundamental information about being a United Methodist. This class is also suggested if you plan to take classes aligned with the Pathways listed on the Lay Servant Ministry website page.
The Registration Fee is $15.00.
